Any information received by the Client during the work is considered confidential and will not be shared with any third parties.


Ebook: We require the attribution of our work in the copyright page such as “Cover Design by Bookcoversart.com” (with a working link) or “Cover Art by Bookcoversart.com” (without the link). Physical book: We require the attribution of our work in the copyright page such as “Cover Art by Bookcoversart.com”. Also, every printable cover will show on the back a small and discreet credit reading Cover Design by Bookcoversart.com.


Once the full payment has been received, we grant the client the exclusive license to use the final version of the artwork sold solely as a book cover. The artwork delivered may not be recreated by anyone, nor can the client order to other designers works based on the original design. According to the international copyright law, we maintain full copyright of all designs delivered and draft concepts (including layout, style, images and fonts placement). We have the right to alter any discarded preliminary draft/concepts to create new drafts for other clients or premade covers. No ideas obtained from discarded preliminary drafts/concepts can be used or claimed by the Client.
We retain the right to use the client’s final book cover design, name, and book title in our portfolio to market and promote our services. The display of the work will be agreed with the Client. The Client agrees not to alter the cover art after it has been delivered except to change size for printing or digital display.


The artwork will be delivered in jpeg format for ebook covers and in pdf format for printable covers. According to the international copyright law we can't sub-license the stock images we use, so fully layered source files will not be provided.


We use our own images or images bought on various stock image sites. Those stock image sites have different license terms but those we use allow the use of each image up to 250,000 or 500,000 printed copies, digital impression are usually unlimited. It is the Client responsibility to inform us of the need of extending such license and we will point the client where to buy the relating licence(s).
The Client acknowledges that the Standard License under which the images are bought, allows the Client to create whatever digital promotional items he needs with the artwork we provided. As for physical products, the Client is allowed to create promotional items as business cards, information leaflets and flyers, but the creation of an item which has a purpose in itself (such as mugs, T-Shirts, etc), is prohibited and needs the Extended License for each stock photo used in the artwork.


In case the Client asks us to work on one or more images she/he provides, she/he acknowledges that she/he is acting in good faith and she/he must have acquired the proper license to those images. Images in the public domain are not accepted. In case a dispute should arise involving material provided by the Client, she/he agrees to assume full legal and financial responsibility and to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Marta Veronese, Ivan Zanchetta and their related companies from any and all copyright and permission infringement action resulting from provided materials.


It’s the client responsibility to order and approve a proof cover of printable covers.
